Enactus Rebranding Challenge

Enactus as a new brand name was officially launched during the opening ceremony of SIFE World Cup in Washington D.C. on September 30, 2012.

On-line announcement of Enactus Rebranding Challenge was made on October 10, 2012 by Enactus national office and the closing date for the challenge was January 31, 2013.

The sole objective of the challenge was to create awareness of the Enactus brand among university students in the hope that more students would participate in Enactus program in their respective universities.


Participating teams in the Enactus rebranding challenge were asked to submit a 3-page written report with photo as proof of the activities conducted during their program/event as well as short videos that have been uploaded on YouTube. They were given the freedom to be as creative as possible in this challenge.

The teams were judged based on Creativity (30%), Impact (30%), Report (30%), and Photos/videos (20%). Prizes for this challenge were set as follows:
  1. Place  - RM 1,000.00
  2. Place - RM 750.00
  3. Place  - RM 500.00

Consolation prize of RM 300.00 each to 5 teams

Based on the total weightage score for all the elements in the judging criterion, the results of the Enactus Rebranding Challenge 2013 among 11 competing teams are as follows:

Champion:
Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS)

Second Place:
Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN)

Third Place:
Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM)

Consolation prizes for the 5 teams were awarded to:
  • Universiti Malaya (UM)
  • Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) 
  • Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP)
  • Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
  • Univeristi Kuala Lumpur (UniKL MICET)
