Mr. Ruben Emir serves as CEO of Westsports Malaysia Sdn Bhd, where Mr. Gnanalingam is responsible for marketing, information technology, process engineering and procurement. Mr. Gnanalingam is a young upcoming leader at one of the nation's top ports.

Apart from his professional engagements, he is involved with many business and industry related groups, such as Harvard Business School Alumni Club Malaysia, Entrepreneurs' Organization and the Kuala Lumpur Business Club Malaysia. Besides that, he is also currently continuing the legacy of Westport's adopted long-term policies with regard to poverty eradication focused on Pulau Indah since 1994.

Mr. Gnanalingam has a Diploma in Port Management from Cambridge Board and has attended several business and management courses at the Harvard Business School, Boston. Mr. Gnanalingam graduated with a BSc (Hons) Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
